LOCATION: Dorval / Hybrid Work Model

TRAVEL: Frequent travel is required.

TERRITORY: Western Canada

POSITION SUMMARY

As Strategic Account Manager – Converse, you will lead and grow our most influential Style accounts, including JD Sports and Foot Locker.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales, and brand execution. You will shape long-term partnerships, drive commercial performance, and ensure the Converse brand is positioned for success across key retail channels.

Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, relationship leadership, and commercial acumen, combined with the ability to execute with precision in a fast-moving marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Account Leadership

Own and elevate relationships that define the marketplace.

• Lead multi-year strategic roadmaps for key accounts (e.g., JD Sports, Foot Locker)

• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Buying Directors and key stakeholders

• Align customer strategies with global brand priorities

• Translate brand direction and innovation into impactful commercial strategies

Joint Business Planning & Commercial Growth

• Drive sustainable growth through aligned and data-driven partnerships

• Develop and execute joint business plans with strategic accounts

• Identify whitespace opportunities across categories and channels

• Own financial performance, including forecasting, in-season management, and reforecasting

• Improve sell-through, margin performance, and full-price selling

Go-To-Market (GTM) Leadership

• Lead seasonal execution from concept to consumer

• Own GTM execution across key Style accounts

• Build consumer-relevant assortments grounded in insights and demand

• Ensure strong cross-functional alignment (Product, Planning, Marketing, Operations)

• Maintain discipline across buys, flow, forecasting, and execution

Marketplace Management & Performance Optimization

• Own in-market performance and brand positioning

• Drive sell-through and manage product lifecycle decisions

• Optimize inventory flow and stock health

• Protect brand equity through pricing, assortment, and channel strategy

• Leverage data and insights to continuously improve performance

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in wholesale, key account management, merchandising, or related field

• Experience managing major retail accounts (e.g., JD, Foot Locker, or similar) is a strong asset

• Strong financial and analytical skills (forecasting, margin management, sell-through analysis)

• Proven ability to build and influence senior-level relationships

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Highly organized with strong project management capabilities

• Commercial mindset with a balance of data-driven decision-making and market intuition
