REPORTS TO: Warehouse Operations Manager or Delegate

LOCATION: Dorval (Montreal)

POSITION SUMMARY

The warehouse Shipper is responsible for the accurate packing, quality control, and shipment of customer orders. This role ensures all outbound shipments are prepared in accordance with warehouse management system (WMS) guidelines, meeting carrier requirements and company standards for accuracy, packaging, and timeliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items match the corresponding sales order and packing slip.
  • Perform quality control checks on all orders prior to shipment to verify product accuracy, quantity, and condition.
  • Measure and weigh cartons to ensure compliance with carrier and system requirements.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials and box sizes to ensure safe and cost-effective shipping.
  • Apply required shipping and compliance labels (e.g., SPS commerce) accurately.
  • Process and ship orders using various carriers, including ups, Canada post, and FedEx.
  • Operate within conveyor and shipping systems to ensure timely order flow and dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Support cross-training initiatives and develop skills across multiple warehouse functions and systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Basic familiarity with WMS or shipping systems (asset)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
