Reports to: Senior Sales Support Manager

Location: Remote USA (Central USA Preferred)

Position Summary:

As a key member of Mint Green's Internal Sales Team (IST), the Internal Sales Support Specialist is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers and sales representatives. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of golf and its equipment to effectively address inquiries, process orders, and deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive on building strong relationships, managing details with precision, and ensuring a seamless customer experience while supporting the sales team in achieving their objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of order entry, including the correct application of discounts and commissions.
  • Become a NuOrder “ninja” to support customers and reps in using the platform to manage their business more independently.
  • Provide timely and helpful responses to customers and sales reps, moving them from problem to resolution with minimal stress.
  • Be proactive in identifying recurring issues and elevating these issues to the broader operations team so they can be prevented in the future.
  • Be proactive in staying in touch with what’s going on with our brands from the standpoint of marketing, social, and PR so you can share newsworthy updates about the growth of the brands customers buy from us.
  • Be proactive by building stronger partnerships with customers.
  • Prepare and research return authorization requests from customers.
  • Prepare and research short shipment/over shipment requests from customers.
  • Communicate daily with the product and sales teams to ensure that pertinent information about order changes, delays, or new opportunities is channeled to the reps and customers.

  • Assist product managers with identifying sales and customer trends
  • Work with colleagues on Sales Support Team to ensure maximize efficiencies with processes and daily activities.  
  • Attend regular meetings with department staff to discuss expectations and address team concerns.
  • Work with the team to coordinate effectively with both sales and operations, to ensure the timely movement of business from order to shipping.  
  • Plan and track progress of customer order pool and other key customer service metrics.
  • Familiarize yourself with, use, and maintain regular reporting tools for stakeholders regarding the progress against milestones and targets.
  • Develop efficient structure for servicing accounts at the highest level.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused role and working with sales reps.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Have previously worked with NetSuite and/or other CRM platforms.
  • You bring high standards to your work.
  • You are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • You know what it’s like to work under the gun and be able to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.
  • You enjoy building, fixing, and finding better ways, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
